A few weekends ago we were lucky enough to escape a few hours north of where we live to enjoy some much needed adult time and to celebrate one of our favorite Goddesses, Carlin. It was her 40th birthday and we decided to celebrate by spending a weekend up in Los Olivos wine tasting, eating, and of course TAMming. I couldn't help but brand the weekend. We had custom backpacks, waterbottles with custom sticker sheets to decorate them as we wish, custom masks, itineraries, my husbands amazing Oat House Granola (coming soon), and of course some custom designed Sweat Goddess leggings inspired by our birthday girl.

We spent our first day walking around the town of Los Olivos and wine tasting in various tasting rooms all within walking distance. If you are in the area I highly recommend this. It's the cutest town and with so many tasting rooms and little eateries you can't go wrong with an afternoon here. Warning, there are no coffee shops in this town (WHAT?) so think about packing an icy cold brew for an afternoon pick me up.

The next morning we woke up early and all did a little Tracy Anderson Method together in our custom leggings. It's always fun to introduce the method to newbies. Afterwards we were picked up by Sustainable Wine Tours, a wine tour company specializing in highly private wine tour experiences with wineries that are exclusively sustainable, organic and/or biodynamic.

Our first stop was Larner Vineyards which was an amazing experience. We walked the grounds, the vineyards, and then ended in a barn for our private wine tasting with the winemaker himself. I could have sat there and listened to him all day. His knowledge was incredible and he had the best stories. The wine was spectacular there and we actually joined our first wine club here.

Probably the most picturesque stop was our final stop at Grassini Family Vineyards where we sat under the most magnificent trees, by a beautiful pond, sipping the most delicious wines. It was a fabulous last stop on our wine tasting adventures.

That evening we sat around playing dominos, sipping some of the wines we had collected from our wine tasting adventures. We ordered food to go from SY Kitchen which is not to be missed if you are in the area.

On our way out of town we stopped in Solvang (the most adorable little town by the way) for a blue magic Latte from Good Seed Coffee Boutique. They have a great selection of superfood coffees, not to be missed!
