Well you knew it was only a matter of time until I hopped on the sourdough baking bandwagon. I acquired a mature starter from a friend (this was a huge head start I have to say) and I made one sub-par loaf.

But then I got my husband aka "The Male Martha" involved and voila a perfect loaf was born. I used organic all purpose flour to feed my starter and "00" flour for this recipe by Feasting at Home. We made sure to use a scale to measure the ingredients (which is key). I am so excited we have this process figured out!

Might I suggest enjoying it just like this with a little Italian extra virgin olive oil drizzle and light sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt. Enjoy it my friends! If you guys try your own or have any tips, tricks or favorite recipes please comment below. I am officially hooked!
